A larger capacity is necessary for the larger screen that the portable TV will have. The batteries are called lithium-ion batteries and are very good at holding electricity for extended periods of time - making them ideal for things like camping trips and even air travel.
This electrical energy, when stored, can then be used up when you decide to use the TV. It is worth noting that while the TV is plugged in, it won’t drain the battery to zero. The TV will only run out after hours and hours of screen time when it isn’t plugged in.
How do I charge my portable TV?
So, a rechargeable TV sounds great! But how can I charge it up?

The battery-powered TV will come with a power adapter/charger that will plug into the wall and into the TV. This power adapter is responsible for turning the (alternating current (AC) electricity that comes out of the wall socket to direct current (DC) electricity that the TV’s battery can store.
