Cello are delighted to support Feeding Families and the fabulous work they do to help people in need in the local area. Our CEO, Brian Palmer is a Trustee on the board of Feeding Families.
What is Feeding Families?
Feeding Families is a charity based in North East England that offers support, hope and security to those experiencing food poverty. Working closely with other organisations and agencies, the charity ensures that thousands of families in desperate need have access to Emergency Food Boxes and support packages. Feeding Families don’t think anyone should go hungry. They believe everyone has the right to be able to feed themselves and their children. Feeding Families offers more than just food, it shows compassion to those in crisis.
Mission Statement
- Provide relief to any person experiencing poverty primarily in North East England. Feeding Familie will do this, in particular but not exclusively, through the provision of food, education and other resources which they could not otherwise afford.
- Promote well-being and mental health for those who give and receive.
